"From the Inside" project

The "From the Inside" has made one of the members of my class. It was his initiative to understand the life and personality of the inhabitants of the orphanage. Such work was the fact that the young man (17 years) experienced mixed feelings.
This was useful, because it may become more aware atmosphere that reigns in this place. He also realized his attitude to what is happening, it has appreciated in their desire to be informed and take an active part in the building of his life.

Working on this project youth distanced from the majority of the orphanage and began to feel their own identity, their own way in life. For orphans is hard to learn to think and make decisions for yourself, not going with the crowd.

As a result, this has been a lot of portraits and the project was transformed into an exhibition "Living in the questions and answers". It was held in the precincts of our orphanage. The young man asked each question about one of the themes of marriage, love, happiness, independence, responsibility, education, music, and so on. The main question that the young man asked himself, "What Dreams May Come?"
The answers were written next to the portrait (20 portraits). Sasha got to think about these important matters all the inhabitants of the orphanage. Was carried out beyond the interior, it was a statement about the youngster himself as a thoughtful, adult. The level of self-worth and self-esteem increased.

This video is about how and where we hung the portraits (there are 20 pieces).

Active phototherapy

Walking around the city develops in children of observation and an active attitude to the world, an independent analysis of the situation. They begin to feel their identity as artists.

The process of photography is a conversation. We talk to the world, with each other and with themselves. For teenagers experiencing this difficult period it is important to find this opportunity for open and constructive dialogue with the world.
